Surya Bala JCB is a 30-year-old automobile dealership company and we got into the dealership with JCB in the year 2017 for eight districts (Coimbatore, Tirupur, Erode, Salem, Namakkal, Karur, Dharmapuri, and Ooty). We are exclusive dealers for JCB machines in all the above-mentioned areas.

What are the current market trends and demands for construction equipment in your region?
With ever-growing demands and tightening budgets, the construction equipment market demands more productive and highly fuel-efficient machines in the market.

Are there any emerging technologies or equipment types that you foresee gaining popularity in the near future?
Like in the European and Middle East market, the major problem in our industry today is to address the manpower shortfall and customers are looking at various new solutions to address this problem. JCB to meet these demands has come up with material handling machines like telehandlers, access platforms and boom lifts that support ease of operation with minimal manpower. This is something that we think will have a high future.

Do you offer training programmes for customers to learn how to operate the equipment effectively?
We are giving basic-level training (not certified) to operators. We are also connecting with customers and operators on a monthly basis via a small gathering
to educate them about the product as well as to train them on how to operate the machine.

Do you provide equipment rental services for short-term or project-specific needs? If yes, please share more details.
No. We are only supplying the machine. If we get into the rental segment, then we are taking away one of our clients jobs and we are not interested in doing them.
Instead, we have got many proposals for short- or long-term projects which we refer to our clients and they will benefit from that.

Do you offer any financing options for customers?
Surya Bala and JCB have tie-ups with more than 15+ established finance companies and we are providing finance options.

Do you offer maintenance packages or scheduled inspection services for the equipment you sell?
Yes, we do have an annual maintenance package for service. We have periodic visits for the machine we supply. The service is free during the first year of machine purchase, and from the second year onwards, it will be chargeable.

What are your future plans?
We as a company handle multiple products from JCB and we want to establish them all as the number one product in our region with good support for the product through serviceability and parts availability.
