The Annual ÑÇÖÞÎÞÂë Awards are here again. In its sixth edition, the Annual Awards to be held on October 25, 2018 in New Delhi, will honour the top performers of construction equipment industry.<p></p><p> It's once again time to honour the top performers of construction equipment industry, to laud their achievements, success and commitment. This year's ÑÇÖÞÎÞÂë Annual Awards, now in its sixth edition, will be presented on October 25 at Taj Palace, New Delhi. ÑÇÖÞÎÞÂë will honour the Person of the Year for 2018, a leader who has been instrumental in the overall growth of his/her organisation during the year of review, in particular. Also recognised at the annual event will be the Bestsellers in various construction equipment categories. This year the awards are conducted as a part of the <span style="font-weight: bold;">INDIA CONSTRUCTION FESTIVAL</span> being held in association with the world's oldest and largest circulated New York-based Engineering News-Record (ENR) magazine. </p><p> <span style="font-weight: bold;">ÑÇÖÞÎÞÂë </span>Person of the Year is adjudged by an eminent jury panel of industry professionals after thorough debate and deliberations about the role played by the nominees in the overall growth of their organisations at various fronts. The jury applies parameters of good governance, macro assessment, and such other qualitative factors to finalise the winner. The jury also selects the Bestsellers in different equipment categories for the sales performance in the assessment year. This is done in association with our Knowledge Partner. Once the jury passes its verdict, the findings are presented at the Annual ÑÇÖÞÎÞÂë Awards. A complete report of the award proceedings is published in India's only infrastructure equipment magazine ÑÇÖÞÎÞÂë. </p><p> <span style="font-weight: bold;">Looking back<br />ÑÇÖÞÎÞÂë</span> has been recognising the best performers of the Indian construction equipment industry through its Annual Awards since the past six years. Every year, a jury panel comprising industry experts meet, evaluate the nominations, and deliberate and choose the winners. At the inaugural edition of ÑÇÖÞÎÞÂë Awards, <span style="font-weight: bold;">Vipin Sondhi, Managing Director and CEO, JCB India</span> was adjudged the ÑÇÖÞÎÞÂë Person of the Year for his contributions to the company's overall growth during the year. At the second edition of awards in 2014, <span style="font-weight: bold;">Anand Sundaresan, Vice Chairman and Managing Director, Schwing Stetter India</span> won the Person of the Year award for his contributions to the growth of the company and industry. <span style="font-weight: bold;">Ramesh Palagiri, Managing Director and CEO, Wirtgen India</span> was the ÑÇÖÞÎÞÂë Person of the Year for 2015 for being instrumental in the company's business growth. For the year 2016, <span style="font-weight: bold;">Prakash Pai, CMD, Puzzolana Group</span> was chosen as the ÑÇÖÞÎÞÂë Person of the Year for his contributions towards the company's stellar performance during the year. <span style="font-weight: bold;">Sandeep Singh, Managing Director, Tata Hitachi Construction Machinery Co, </span>played a key role in the turnaround of his company's performance in 2017, which qualified him to win the Person of the Year award at the 5th Annual ÑÇÖÞÎÞÂë Awards. In all these years, ÑÇÖÞÎÞÂë also recognised the Bestsellers in various equipment categories, including Asphalt Finishers, Backhoe Loaders, Compaction Equipment, Crawler Dozers, Crawler Excavators, Mini Excavators, Mobile Compressors, Mobile Cranes, Motor Graders, Rigid Dump Trucks, Skid Steer Loaders and Wheeled Loaders. There were also special awards to personalities and companies for their noteworthy performance during the year.</p><p><span style="font-weight: bold;">India Construction Festival</span><br />FIRST Construction Council, a non-profit trust, is presenting India Construction Festival 2018 in association with ENR magazine. </p><p>To be held on October 24 and 25, 2018 in New Delhi, this two-day event will comprise India Roads Conference, <span style="font-weight: bold;">16th CONSTRUCTION WOLRD Global Awards 2018, CONSTRUCTION WORLD Leadership Summit,</span> and the <span style="font-weight: bold;">6th Annual ÑÇÖÞÎÞÂë Awards 2018.</span> </p><p>The Annual India Roads Conference offers a platform for the industry players to present and learn about the cutting-edge equipment, services and projects shaping the road sector in India.
