Showcasing Mining Opportunities
The IMME 2014 is poised to showcase the best-in-class equipment, technology and services for the mining industry.
The 12th edition of International Mining and Machinery Exhibition (IMME) orgnaised by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) between 3 to 6 December 2014 at Salt Lake Stadium Grounds, Salt Lake, Kolkata. Supported by the Ministry of Mines and Coal India, this edition of IMME has attracted USA as Partner Country and Australia as Focus Country, and country level participation from China, Czech Republic, Germany and the UK. The exhibition spread across 55,000 sq m comprising more than 300 exhibitors from India and abroad especially from Canada, Poland, Singapore, South Africa, Switzerland, Taiwan, China and Ukraine.

The event is poised to showcase the best-in-class equipment, technology and services for the mining industry. The four-day international exhibition will attract over 9,000 visitors, especially international buying delegations who would use this platform to evaluate, explore and understand the sector and more importantly explore new suppliers through structured buyer-seller meet.

Global Mining Summit is organised concurrently on 3 and 4 December 2014, to hear from the policy makers and add value proposition to the event. The summit will focus mainly on policy and regulatory frameworks, explorations, technology and the emerging business opportunities in the Indian mining sector. The summit platform will be used by Ministries of Mines, Coal and Steel to inform Indian industry and the international business on the latest policy updates and seek feedback from industry in India and overseas with participation from senior government officials and policy leaders. The deliberations during the summit would through light to the display and technologies being demonstrated a the exhibition ground.
